NEURO GYM – INKLING

 WELCOME TO NEURO GYM

                                           Giving staff a brain edge

THINKGROUP Neurosciences founder and cognitive neuroscientist, Dr Stan Rodski, developed NeuroGYM to provide a quick, fun and effective way for people undergoing ever escalating pressures to relax their brain, improve memory, concentration, attention, brain health and overall wellness.

To start , you need to complete your quick INDUCTION online.

Please click here to access the waiver form.

Your Neuro GYM can be found on xxxxxxx. The neuroGYM consists of 4 neuroPOD’s designed to relax and stimulate your brain. Each pod has a designated function in terms of its impact on the brain (see below). The neuroGYM and POD’s can be easily accessed and don’t require a booking. If you have any questions contact Dr Rodski at srodski@thethinkgroup.com.au.

BEFORE YOU START
Prior to commencing in neuroGYM it is highly recommended you undergo an induction. In the induction you are shown how to use the equipment and also receive a Brain Edge Report (Questions completed online) which details the best combination of neuro exercises (POD’s) together with the optimal duration and frequency for them.

POD 1: BIO FEEDBACK POD
In this pod you receive instructions about 2 methods of relaxation. The first is through controlled breathing and the second by using colouring. The power of these techniques is enhanced through biofeedback which is used in your session time.

POD 2: FRONTAL LOBE POD
Placed above the nose and covering the eyes, this exercise directly impacts the executive function area of the brain. Through pressure and heat , the executive thinking part of the brain is brought into balance or homeostasis FOR OPTIMAL performance.

POD 3: WHOLE BRAIN POD
Whole brain stimulation includes frontal lobe, left and right temporal lobes, cingulate gyrus and basil ganglia regions of the brain. Stimulation of these multiple areas through pressure encourages neuronal activity, neural plasticity and creative thinking.

POD 4: DEEP BRAIN POD
Depending on individual needs, you can either stimulate or relax your brain using light and sound to reinforce brain wave patterns associated with both alpha waves(relaxation) or beta waves(thinking stimulation).
